Co-production in Action: A Case Study with Active Prospects

“Co-production” is a word that gets used a lot across our sector and for good reason; it is absolutely essential that we develop care and support with people, not for or to people. At Motion that’s always been the case, so it’s always nice when we get to work with organisations that are completely aligned, like Active Prospects.

We partnered with Active Prospects earlier this year, who have been using the Motion platform to improve the lives and outcomes of the people they support. During one of the implementation sessions at Young Prospects, a Respite Service in Redhill, we learned about how Chloe, one of the people they support, is a talented musician - she can play guitar, sing, dance.. you name it!

Hearing Chloe speak so passionately about music was incredibly moving - from that moment we knew we had to share this talent and creativity with the world. So, we worked with the Active Prospects team, in particular Katie Easton (Healthcare Facilitator), Anshika Jalgaonkar (Service Manager) and Lou Launchbury (Care Systems Manager) to turn this idea into a reality.

Thanks to the hard work of the Active Prospects team we were able to support Chloe to perform musical content for the Motion platform, which has been shared with people drawing on care up and down the country, helping them to achieve goals that are important to them.

To find out more watch the video of Zeezy, our Founder, and Katie Easton, Active Prospects Healthcare Facilitator, speaking about how we made this happen.
